Guest Artist: Rafael Campallo

Rafael Campallo (Seville, 1974) is an established, internationally renowned flamenco bailaor (dancer) and choreographer. Trained under masters such as José Galván and Manolo Marín, he began his career at a very young age, performing in tablaos and joining major productions alongside María Pagés, Manuela Carrasco, and the Compañía Andaluza de Danza.

Throughout his career, he won the prestigious "El Desplante" dance award at the Festival de La Unión (1999) and has toured world-class stages leading his own company with hit shows such as Don Juan Flamenco, Puente de Triana, and Puro. Furthermore, he has been a key figure in essential arte jondo events such as the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla and the Festival de Jerez, balancing his stage career with international teaching and his work at the Fundación Cristina Heeren.

On the occasion of the Bienal de Sevilla 2026, Teatro Flamenco Sevilla reaffirms its commitment to artistic creation, training, and outreach, establishing itself as a vibrant space where flamenco is learned, shared, and celebrated throughout the event.

Among our featured productions, we present “Femme Federico: Las mujeres de Lorca a través del flamenco”, where baile intertwines with excerpts from the poet's works, and “Así pasen 100 años”, featuring Úrsula López, Rosa Belmonte, and Ramón Martínez in a memorable reunion on stage. Furthermore, we will welcome very special guest artists within our regular “Pasión” programming, including María Moreno, Rafael Campallo, and Estela Alonso.
